I have a passion for helping people with complex or persistent pain and have trained in:
Combining these massage modalities, I am able to treat many conditions, often able to address the underlying issue. This allows me to achieve greater and longer-lasting results than if I used any technique in isolation. My goal is to work together with you to take better care of your health long-term and to improve your overall well-being.
I have had specific massage success treating conditions including:
Remedial hot stone massage is a remedial massage with the added luxury of hot stones. It uses heat to calm the nervous system and warm the muscles and fascia. This allows me to reach the deeper layers faster without the need for excess force. As I can cover more areas, more thoroughly and in a shorter time, you are less likely to feel overworked or wiped out, but still have the lasting benefits of remedial treatment. A remedial hot stone massage can combine:
Scars may seem small and insignificant, but research shows that they have a phenominal impact on your overall wellbeing. Scar tissue massage is a very gentle technique that reintegrates the scar into your body and promotes neural function and blood flow through the affected area. This in turn helps to return function to thr affected regions. If you have a scar, no matter how old, massage may be helpful.
Scar tissue massage can be beneficial for anyone who has had a planned or unplanned scar, such as from joint replacements, carpal tunnel surgery or even cosmetic surgery. It is also helpful for anyone who has had operations such as hysterectomies, mastectomies, bone fusions, c-sections or hernia repair.
Pregnancy/Postnatal Massage is beneficial for many women during their pregnancy journey and beyond. It is helpful for reducing hip and pelvis pain, reducing severity of sciatica, excess fluid and leg cramps, improving sleep and increasing mood and healing. Postnatally, it can also specifically help with muscular changes due to feeding and carrying the baby, cesarean scars, Diastasis Recti and essential self-care time.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle, hands- on technique to help your body process it’s fluid (lymph). Anyone can benefit from a lymphatic drainage treatment, but it is especially useful for people with swelling from surgeries, breast cancer and pregnancy.
Wax Not Oil
Here at Dynamic Stone Massage I use massage wax, not oil in all treatments. This allows me to work more specifically, with more control, and gain better feedback from your body, giving you a more comprehensive massage experience. This wax is an all natural product with no added chemicals or preservatives, so it’s good for your skin too!
Helping You Feel Better
Massage is a tool to help you heal. Whether it’s to combat stress, illness, pain or simply to zone out, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honoured to take that journey with you
Sharing Knowledge
Communication is key. This is why I have a consult for all treatments. I need to know what you’re feeling and experiencing on the day, and during the massage, in order for me to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
Your Body, Your Needs
With several years of experience in massage therapy using a number of modalities, my goal is to work with you to meet your body’s needs. I tailor every treatment to you and your specific problem, to provide effective, efficient and lasting results.
A Therapist Who Listens
I understand that true therapy comes first from listening to you, your words and your body. I endeavour to listen to you holistically, so that my massage can be as effective as possible.
Experienced Knowledge
Not sure which style of massage therapy best suits you? No problem! Book yourself in for a consult and I will tailor the treatment specifically to you on the day.
Health fund rebates are available for all massage treatments. Please let me know which health fund you are with, so that you can receive your rebate.
Felicity’s gentle myo-fascial massage with hot (warm) stones has been just what I needed with a number of troubling aches and pains, and the legacy of post-surgical complications. The relief, especially after a few hours, is remarkable. You can forget the common painful remedial massage treatments, and relax in her expert, sensitive and caring hands.
Felicity listens carefully to client problems, and combined with intuitive practise, remediates issues. She also suggests stretches and self massage between visits. I find the hot stones to be relaxing, comforting and grounding, promoting an almost meditative state which deepens the massage experience. I also love the massage wax she uses as it allows for a high level of control and no greasy residue. For me, Felicity resolved chronic headaches, wry neck, lower back issues, stress and chronic pain. Highly recommended!

Through my unique massage style, I can treat a wide variety of muscular conditions. Over the years I have helped clients to resolve conditions ranging from Plantar Fasciitis, Sciatica, and Frozen Shoulder to Migraines, Post-Surgery pain and Carpal Tunnel. I welcome all conditions, but have a special interest in treating chronic, unresolved pain, post-surgery pain, and pre/postnatal conditions.
As strange as it may sound, the stones are not just used because they feel good. In fact, there are many different reasons that I use stones. In a massage treatment you can experience hot and/or cold stones, and both are for different reasons.
The hot stones are good for softening the muscles, calming the nervous system, increasing blood flow and reducing pain and spasms.
In contrast, the cold stones restrict blood flow, numb the muscles and reduce inflammation, whilst also reducing pain.
Well, the short answer is “No.” The stones are in fact a tool used during the treament to enhance the remedial massage. They are used as an extension of my hand and can be used for many different remedial techniques. The added thermal benefit allows me to work more effectively and efficiently so that I can use your time as best as I can.
Placement stones may be used in particular areas to help prepare the body for treatment or to soothe the body after treatment.
All massage treatments are tailored specifically to you, so if you have any health conditions which may be affected by heat, we will be able to adjust the treatment accordingly. This is where providing a detailed medical history helps me to provide you with the best possible treatment.
Frequently I have clients ask what I have on my arm. And no, I don’t have a burn there and I haven’t just sneezed. It is in fact the massage wax I use during treatment. While massaging I will carry a small amount of wax on my arm so that I don’t have to continually leave the client unattended on the massage table. After each treatment the wax that was on my arm is cleaned off, so fresh wax is always being used.
